Fees & Other Charges

The cost of The Intensive Program is $4,250 per month per qualifying resident. (Please refer to the suggested Intensive Program Schedule above) This monthly fee is payable in advance in monthly installments and includes charges for the enjoyment of the facility and for 24 hour monitoring (day, evening and night) set forth above under points 1, 2 and 3 below. Each one of these components is described in turn.

1. The Facility

a. a bright 5,000 square foot home with central air, located in an attractive accessible Northern Virginia neighborhood;

b. a handsomely furnished private or semi-private bedroom;

c. spacious, comfortably furnished, common areas;

d. a fully equipped kitchen and self-service laundry;

e. the other "comforts of home" including: cable television, utilities, a private or semi-private local telephone line.

2. The Intensive Program - Day Programming (24 Hour Monitoring).

a. Therapy sessions (our therapists have earned the following designations: CAC, LCSW and/or LPC):

1. Individual

2. Group

3. Educational workshops

b. Meditations and recovery readings (Big Book, Step, Relapse Prevention)

c. House meetings

d. Exercise

e. "Family" dining, weekly:

1. Preparation and sharing of 5 sit-down daytime meals in house

2. meals out

f. Attendance at 12 step meetings and other program related events

g. Transportation

h. Cultural activities

i. Buddy system

3. The Transitional Program - Evening Programming and Night Monitoring.

a. Supervised evening programming with a focus on: meditation, AA/NA attendance, bonding with the local sober community, relapse prevention, exercise, relaxation, stress reduction, development of sober coping skills and maintenance of daily inventory

b. "Family" dining, weekly:

1. Preparation and sharing of 6 sit-down morning and evening meals in House;

2. 1 evening meal out

c. Overnight monitoring.

The cost of The Transitional Program is $2,750 per month per qualifying resident. (Please refer to the suggested Transitional Program Schedule above) This monthly fee is payable in advance in monthly installments and includes charges for the enjoyment of the facility and for the evening programming and night monitoring set forth above under points 1 and 3 respectively.

At times the resident's counselor will suggest that the resident gradually transition from the Intensive to the Transitional Program. In this case, an interim program will be tailored for the resident's needs. The fee of this interim phase will fall somewhere between that of the Intensive and the Transitional Program depending on the specifics requested by the counselor.

The GRR fees are due monthly. Failure by a resident to satisfy his or her financial commitment will be grounds for discharge from the program.

Additional charges may apply for specific services and will be due at the time that the service is rendered. Additional charges can include but are not limited to: dry cleaning, entertainment (movies, opera, theater), fax service, hair cutting, gym/health club fees, individual and family counseling, long distance phone charges, lost key charges, office support, urine screens and individual transportation needs.

A deposit may be required upon entry into The GRR.
